This investment is speculative, "because its value can not be calculated. There's an emotional element in it, but could bring in money," Samuel said in a talk before the launch of the new collection Danar Hadi Batik in Jakarta, Wednesday (30/06/2010).
He gave an example, someone might have a piece of batik cloth with a price of Rp 5 million. But when the same item is owned by former President Soekarno, the price may be increased many fold.
